The Howard S. Stainton Senior Center, located within the Ocean City Community Center, offers daily activities, cards and games, exercise classes, day trips, educational resources and speakers, computer stations with instruction, free income tax preparation assistance, line dance classes, arts and crafts, healthy refreshments and a free nutritious lunch. Specialty exercise classes such as Drum Fit, Strength & Toning and Chair Yoga are offered. Transportation to the Senior Center is available.

HOURS

• SPECIAL NOTICE: The Senior Center will be closed on Saturday and Sunday, April 18 and 19, for an in-house painting project. It will reopen on a normal schedule on Monday, April 20.
• 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday
• 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

• Ocean City Jitney Service: Free transportation is available 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays with jitneys stopping every 15 minutes at Bayview Manor/Speitel Commons (635 West Avenue), Pecks Beach (204 Fourth Street), 500 Bay (500 Bay Avenue), The Shores (2201 Bay Avenue), and Wesley by the Bay (2419 Bay Avenue).
