Neighborhood & Social Services

The Ocean City Neighborhood and Social Services office is responsible for assisting residents in times of need and offers services, information and assistance with outside agencies.  The office assists with emergency food referrals, referrals to other agencies for services, fare free applications and a kiosk to apply for food stamps online or unemployment. The office also assists with applications such as the LIHEAP grant to help with a heating bill.  In addition, all Waves of Caring applications are taken at the Neighborhood and Social Services office for Christmas help and a food card to help with holiday meals.  This office also administrates a State Work First New Jersey Program for singles and couples with no dependant children in their care with limited or no income.
