Emergency Responder 5K

Race Start 8:30AM

The 5K and 1 Mile Events will start on the boardwalk and finish on the OCHS track. The kids events will be on the field. Kids Events begin: 9:00AM

REGISTRATION - Opens Feb 1st

• Race-day registration: 7:00 AM. to 8:15 AM. Location: Civic Center.
• Registration fees: $25 through June 1, 2025. $30 June 2 - June 11th 4:00PM. June 12th - Race Day In-person registration ($35) TBA Ocean City.  Entry fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Race Day Packet Pick-up: 7:00AM - 8:15 AM
• Advance packet pickup: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM. June 13 Civic Center 500 Boardwalk Ocean City, NJ 08226
  
  

RACE AND COURSE INFORMATION

The race start & finish is at Boardwalk and track. The awards ceremony will be held at race site after all participants have completed the course.

• Course: 5th St Civic Center - Boardwalk and Street - Course Map
• Kids Events: 50- and 100-meter dashes, 400-meter obstacle course
• Beneficiaries: All proceeds benefit Ocean City Recreation Scholarships and Programs.

AWARD CATEGORIES

• Overall: Top male, female & Non-Binary 5K finishers (overall time is based on gun time). Overall Emergency Responder, OCPD, OCFD, OCBP
• Age group: Top three in the following 5K age groups: 9-and-under, 10-12, 13-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-and-over. (Age group awards will be based on chip time.)
