Construction work to mill and remove the paved surface of the former car dealership lot adjacent to the Ocean City Free Public Library will begin on Tuesday, Nov. 4. Please do not park in this area overnight and during ongoing construction.

Parking remains available in the lots for the library and the rest of the Ocean City Community Center and on the streets nearby.

The work is part of a project to convert the city block between 16th Street and 17th Street, Haven Avenue and Simpson Avenue, to an area of open space and public recreation.
