A new event coming to Ocean City’s Carey Stadium on June 13 will use the game of lacrosse to bring the community together and raise funds and awareness for veterans.  

Shootout for Soldiers will be a community-wide festival dedicated to supporting those who have served our country. The event organizers are looking for teams and players of all ages and skill levels to hit the field for a day of informal games of all types.  

The heart of the event will be the Veterans Game, a special highlight celebrating veterans who are also lacrosse players. The event also will feature activities for the entire family, including games and inflatables. The family festival will run in partnership with the Emergency Responder 5K Race on the same day.
