 Ocean City Beach Patrol

The Department of Fire and Rescue Services announces that the Ocean City Beach Patrol will be guarding the following beaches for the 2018 Memorial Day Weekend. Beaches are guarded from 10 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. weekends and holidays and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on weekdays.
 
From Saturday (May 26) through Friday (June 1), the following beaches will be guarded. More beaches will be added in the coming weeks until the patrol is fully staffed.
  • St. Charles Place
  • Brighton Place
  • 8th Street 
  • 9th Street                  
  • 10th Street                                          
  • 11th Street        
  • 12th Street                 
  • 26th Street 
  • 34th Street         
  • 58th Street              

OCBP rookie tryouts will be held June 9 and June 10, 2018. For further information on the comptetitive tryout and an application, click here. A rowing clinic for interested applicants will be held 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 26-27 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 2-3 at the Tennesseee Avenue Boat Ramp. Applicants can stop by any time during those hours.
