Open Public Records Act Requests
The New Jersey Open Public Records Act (OPRA) provides that most government records are available to the public. There may be an associated cost.
- Documents available in electronic format when supplied as an e-mail attachment: no charge
- Letter-size pages: $0.05
- Legal-size pages: $0.07
- Other materials (CD, DVD, etc.): Actual cost of material
- Delivery: Delivery/postage fees additional depending upon delivery type
- Extras: Special service charge dependent upon request.
- Police body-worn camera footage: $29 per hour. No charge for the first 3 hours.
