To honor the upcoming Veterans Day, Wesley By The Bay, part of the United Methodist Communities in Ocean City is holding a Have a Heart Initiative is asking for the support of local businesses/vendors by donating NEW items of winter weather clothing. These donations are for the homeless Veterans in Cape May County. This campaign, Warm Hearts For Veterans is the sister campaign of Have a Heart For Veterans which occurs on Valentine’s Day.

New items can be:

• Men’s or women's winter coats/jackets
• Winter socks, gloves, hats, scarves
• Thermal/flannel shirts, Long Johns
• Hand or Feet warmers
• Back packs
• Gift Certificates to McDonalds, 7/11 or Dunkin Donuts.

There is currently a large need to help Veterans that are homeless and numerous donations are needed. As the winter months approach, providing these much-needed items would be so helpful.
