By Friday (Jan. 22), the contractor will have completed slip-lining the existing 20" DIP all the way to the northern project terminus at 8th Street, EXCEPT for the 14th Street culvert crossing. Also, all the connections were made from the new 16" HDPE pipe to the existing 12" DIP line, just south of 8th Street. The 8th Street tie-in pit will have been backfilled and temporary paved by the end of today.

Next week, the contractor is scheduled to complete the pipe segment that crosses 14th Street via open cut trenching.

This weekend, Bay Avenue will be open to two lanes of traffic, EXCEPT for between 13th and 14th Streets. Due to the open and secured pit located north of 14th Street, Bay Avenue will be open only to southbound traffic in that block. Northbound traffic will be detoured around the block.

Next week, Bay Avenue will be open to two lanes of traffic, EXCEPT between 13th and 14th Streets due to the ongoing pipe work at that location where traffic will be detoured.
