The Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect for Ocean City on Thursday has been changed to a tornado watch. It will be in effect through 10 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026.

Scattered severe thunderstorms, excessive rainfall, damaging winds, and isolated flash flooding are all possible today. Please monitor conditions and be prepared to take shelter and limit travel.
