The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch in effect for Ocean City through 10 p.m. Tuesday (July 28, 2026).

The NWS advises of an increasing risk for severe thunderstorms and flash flooding Tuesday. Scattered to numerous thunderstorms will be capable of producing damaging winds, tornadoes, flash flooding, and large hail.

Remain alert for changing weather conditions Tuesday, and seek shelter indoors if you hear thunder. Have multiple ways to receive any warnings that may be issued.
