Special Weather Statement:

The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch in effect for Ocean City through 9 p.m. Tuesday (July 21, 2026).

The NWS advises of an increasing risk for severe thunderstorms and flash flooding Tuesday. Scattered to numerous thunderstorms will be capable of producing damaging winds, tornadoes, flash flooding, and large hail. Multiple rounds of storms are expected.

Remain alert for changing weather conditions Tuesday, and seek shelter indoors if you hear thunder. Have multiple ways to receive any warnings that may be issued.
