Special Weather Statement:

3:30 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2026

The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch in effect for Ocean City through 7 p.m. Monday (March 16, 2026).

A line of severe thunderstorms is expected to pass through the area late this afternoon or early this evening. The formation of tornadoes is possible throughout the region. Strong non-tornado winds and heavy rain are also possible.

Loose objects on your property should be brought inside or secured. All contractors are asked to secure job sites. Driving conditions could be hazardous.
