Notice of Intent to Award a Contract under a National Cooperative Purchasing Agreement with the Houston-Galveston Area Council of Governments National Cooperative Purchasing Program (HGAC-Buy)

 

The City of Ocean City intends to participate in the HGAC-Buy Contract #RH04-25, Refuse Handling Equipment for the purchase of one (1) Pac-Mac Trash Truck.

 

Information regarding the contract may be found at the City of Ocean City, 861 Asbury Avenue, City Hall, Division of Purchasing & Contract Management Room 203, Monday through Friday except legal holidays, 9:00am – 4:00pm, as well as through the HGAC-Buy website at https://www.hgacbuy.org/products-and-services/view-contract?contractid=1141 

 

City of Ocean City anticipates utilizing the HGAC-Buy contract in calendar year 2026. The current HGAC-Buy contract term for contract #RH04-25 is good through March 31, 2029.

 

It is the intent of the City of Ocean City, NJ – Michael Rossbach Jr., QPA, City Purchasing Manager to make a contract award to Mid-Atlantic Waste Systems an authorized distributor on an as needed basis and determined in the best interest of the City of Ocean City, NJ to utilize the HGAC-Buy contract pursuant to the proposal submitted in response to the HGAC-Buy Bid Contract #RH04-25, Refuse Handling Equipment.

 

City of Ocean City is permitted to join national cooperative purchasing agreements under the authority of N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2(b)(3).
