Notice of Intent to Award a Contract under a National Cooperative Purchasing Agreement with the Houston-Galveston Area Council of Governments National Cooperative Purchasing Program (HGAC-Buy)

 

The City of Ocean City intends to participate in the HGAC-Buy Contract #FS12-23, Fire Apparatus and Related Vehicles for the purchase of two (2) Enforcer Pumpers.

 

Information regarding the contract may be found at the City of Ocean City, 861 Asbury Avenue, City Hall, Division of Purchasing & Contract Management Room 203, Monday through Friday except legal holidays, 9:00am – 4:00pm, as well as through the HGAC-Buy website at https://www.hgacbuy.org/products-and-services/view-contract?contractid=132

 

City of Ocean City anticipates utilizing the HGAC-Buy contract in calendar year 2026. The current HGAC-Buy contract term for contract #FS12-23 is good through November 20, 2027.

 

It is the intent of the City of Ocean City, NJ – Michael Rossbach Jr., QPA, City Purchasing Manager to make a contract award to Fire & Safety Services on an as needed basis and determined in the best interest of the City of Ocean City, NJ to utilize the HGAC-Buy contract pursuant to the proposal submitted in response to the HGAC-Buy Bid Contract #FS12-23, Fire Apparatus and Related Vehicles.

 

City of Ocean City is permitted to join national cooperative purchasing agreements under the authority of N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2(b)(3).
