The Ocean City Clerk’s Office announced on Wednesday a new polling place for voters in two districts within the city’s Fourth Ward.

Voters in Fourth Ward District 2 and District 3 will now vote at the 29^th Street Firehouse at 2901 West Avenue. The polling place for all five of the Fourth Ward’s districts had been at the American Legion Morvay-Miley-Cruice Post 524 at 4556 West Avenue. The change allows more space for voting and election day operations.

Voters in Fourth Ward District 1, District 4 and District 5 will continue to vote at the American Legion. 

The Fourth Ward extends from the south side of 26^th Street to 59^th Street and includes the Ocean Reef neighborhood off Tennessee Avenue.

The new polling places will be in effect for the municipal election on May 14, the primary election on June 4 and the general election on Nov. 5 in 2024 and for all other elections going forward.
