DESCRIPTION:The Ocean City Environmental Commission will sponsor a free presentation on emergency preparedness at  6 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2026 in the Chris Maloney Lecture Hall at the Ocean City Free Public Library (1735 Simpson Avenue).Ocean City Emergency Management Director Frank Donato and retired National Weather Service meteorologist Jim Eberwine will speak on how to stay safe and informed during hurricanes, winter and summer storms, and other emergencies. He will demonstrate information resources (including www.ocnj.us) that anybody can use to anticipate and prepare for flooding events.All are encouraged to attend.
