The Ocean City Environmental Commission invites the public to attend a free program on how businesses can become more sustainable while increasing profitability.
Local business owner and Environmental Commission member Caitlin Quirk will deliver a talk on sustainable business practices at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, at the Chris Maloney Lecture Hall within the Ocean City Free Public Library (1735 Simpson Avenue).
“Through my efforts to reduce plastic and single-use waste, I discovered an unexpected benefit: significant cost savings that positively impacted my business’s financial health,” Quirk says.
Quirk’s presentation will share insights not only from her own journey but also offer practical methods for businesses.
