The Ocean City Environmental Commission recommends a virtual seminar to anybody interested in learning more about how the endangered North Atlantic right whale may or may not be affected by offshore wind energy projects.
The featured speaker will be Dr. Mark Baumgartner, senior scientist with the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI). Dr. Baumgartner will deliver a presentation titled "The Fate of North Atlantic Right Whales in an Increasingly Industrialized Ocean." This will be a free Zoom webinar open to all who are interested.
The seminar is part of the Marine Extension Program Seminar Series (MEPSS) of the Rutgers Cooperative Extension. It will be held 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, March 28.
