The plunge starts at 2 p.m. on Jan. 1 on the beach adjacent to the Music Pier (on the Eighth Street side). Participants should register outside the Music Pier before heading to the beach or online in advance. Registration is free, but all participants must sign a waiver in person or online. “First Day at the Beach” shirts will be on sale at the Music Pier.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT, WAIVER & RELEASE

In filling out this form, I/We have agreed to take full and complete responsibility for any and all risks which I/We may incur in participating in the First Day At The Beach Ocean Dip event. I/We hereby hold harmless the City of Ocean City, its officials, employees and agents, and all sponsors, donors, charities, advertisers, volunteers and exhibitors and other parties connected with this event in any way, individually or collectively, from and against any claim of damages or liability for any injury, misadventure, harm, loss, inconvenience or damage suffered or sustained as a result of participation by me/us in the FIRST DAY AT THE BEACH OCEAN DIP on January 1, 2026, and/ or any activities associated herewith.  I/We also hereby consent to and permit emergency treatment in the event of injury or illness.
