Skateboard Park

Updated Skate Park Rules
 
ONLY TEN SKATERS ARE PERMITTED TO ENTER AT A TIME.
 
EVERY (1) HOUR SKATERS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE PARK FOR A BRIEF CLEANING. ONCE COMPLETED STAFF WILL ADMIT TEN NEW SKATERS TO THE PARK.
 
IF THERE ARE NOT TEN SKATERS ON THE WAITING LIST, SKATERS WILL BE ALLOWED TO IMMEDIATELY REENTER THE PARK.
 
NO SPECTATORS ALLOWED.
 
NO LOANER EQUIPMENT WILL BE PROVIDED.
 
FACE MASKS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES.
 
MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCE (6ft).
 
USE HAND SANITIZER.
 
Hours of Operation:
Monday – Friday from Noon to Dusk
Saturday – Sunday from 9 am to Dusk

The Ocean City Skateboard Park
The use of safety equipment (see item number 3 below) is mandatory.  Access will be denied without proper safety equipment.
 

Information regarding the skateboard park and the rules are as follows:

  1. Hours:Open Monday - Friday 12 noon - Dusk. Weekends 9:00 a.m. to Dusk (weather permitting.)
     
  2. Skateboard Park will be closed during inclement weather and/or when equipment is damaged or wet or for routine maintenance.
     
  3. The following protective equipment is required to be used while skateboarding: helmet, elbow pads, knee pads.
     
  4. Use of personally owned ramps, boxes, rails or other similar items is prohibited.
     
  5. Parental supervision for inexperienced skateboarders and those less than 12 years of age is strongly recommended.
     
  6. Skateboard Park is for skateboards only. Bikes, scooters, and roller blades are prohibited.
     
  7. No amplified sound is permitted except by permit.
     
  8. No food or glass containers are permitted in the skateboard park.
     
  9. Skateboarding is prohibited on the adjacent parking lots, sidewalks and streets.
     
  10. Proper behavior is required at all times. Abusive, profane language or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.
     
  11. Use of alcohol and tobacco products is prohibited.
     
  12. Rules violations will result in suspension of skateboarding privileges.
     
  13. Unsafe conditions should be reported to the City of Ocean City, Department of Community Services at: 609-399-6111.
