Public Comment Invited on Housing Grant Plans

The City of Ocean City has prepared a draft of the following documents relating to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, which is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD):
Ocean City's 2019 allocation for the CDBG Program is $278,423. These funds will be used for eligible housing and community development activities and for program administration.
Draft versions of the documents are available by clicking on the links above (through July 8, 2019) and at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 861 Asbury Avenue, Ocean City, N.J., a period in excess of the required 30 days.
Written comments on these documents may be addressed to Christine D. Gundersen, Manager of Capital Planning, at the above address or via email to email@example.com. Written comments will be considered until 4 p.m. on July 8, 2019.
Additionally, a public hearing is being held to receive community input on the Consolidated Plan, Annual Action Plan and Analysis of Impediments. The public hearing will be held at 3 p.m. on June 17, 2019 in Council Chambers on the third floor of City Hall.
Following the receipt of all public input, City Council is tentatively scheduled to consider a resolution adopting the Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan at its regular meeting on July 11, 2019. Both plans, as well as the Analysis of Impediments, will then be submitted to HUD.
