The City of Ocean City, NJ will be conducting an online auction for the Public Sale of Surplus Property on an ongoing basis as items become available. The City has contracted with GovDeals, Inc. an internet based government auction website to conduct the online Sale of Surplus Property as listed and in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-36 and 40A:14-157.  Items will be offered with the contracted online auction service known as GovDeals, Inc. Anyone interested in viewing these listed items may visit the GovDeals website @ www.govdeals.com or use the link to GovDeals on the City of Ocean City’s website.  All interested bidders can register for free with GovDeals, Inc.

All sales shall be final and items are sold “As is”  “Where is”.  Payment shall be received by The City of Ocean City within five (5) business days of the auctions closing date.  All Items (Surplus Property) shall be picked up or removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyers Certificate.  The Buyer shall be responsible to make all necessary arrangements to have the items removed.  The Terms and Conditions are posted online at the GovDeals website.  All items may be inspected at the location and time specified online at the items auction site.

The abandoned bicycles came into possession of the City of Ocean City through abandonment and/or failure of owners to claim same. Sealed bid proposals shall be received by the Ocean City Purchasing Manager for a limited project at the Bayside Center located at 520 Bay Avenue, Ocean City, NJ 08226. 
 
CITY CONTRACT #18-37, BAYSIDE CENTER IMPROVEMENTS – PHASE 3A
 
Funded by a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the project entails roof replacement and related repairs at the Main House, Pavilion, Pool House and Garage.  The site has been determined to be eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places.  A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will take place at the project site at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, July 17, 2018.  
 
The deadline for questions during the bid period is 4:00 P.M. on July 20, 2018.  Questions must be submitted in writing via email to the project architect, Michael Calafati Architect, LLC, michael@calafati.com.
 
Bid documents are available from either the Architect in electronic format or in person directly from the Ocean City Purchasing Office.   Bid documents obtained from the Architect will be transmitted via email at no cost.  Bid documents obtained from the City are $50 per set (make check payable to the City of Ocean City).   The Ocean City Purchasing Office is located in Room 203 of City Hall at 861 Asbury Avenue, Ocean City, NJ 08226.  Tel: (609) 525-9353.  Regular business hours (except weekends and holidays) are 8:45 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.

Sealed bid proposals shall be received by the Ocean City Purchasing Manager for a limited project at the historic Ocean City Life Saving Station located at 801 Fourth Street, Ocean City, New Jersey 08226.  Funded by a grant from the Sandy Disaster Relief Fund for Historic Properties and administered by the New Jersey Historic Trust (NJHT), the project entails site improvements such as new paving, slate sidewalks, a perimeter wood fence and a flagpole.  The site is listed on the New Jersey and National Registers of Historic Places.  A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the project site at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2018.
