In 2008, we temporarily opened the Boardwalk Bench Program to offer a limited amount of benches for sale. This program is now closed and it is not anticipated that it will be opening up again. We have the following programs you may be interested in:
Dedication & Memorial Programs
Create a Memory Programis being offered in our parks at North Street, 8th Street and at Sandcastle Park at 34th Street. These parks have all recently been renovated and with upgrades and the following are being offered for sale:
- 4 x 8 Engraved Red Brick Paver (Includes 3 lines, 13 characters per line) $150.
- Shade Tree with Engraved Donor Plaque (Includes 4 lines, 20 characters per line) $1,000.

Adopt a Bike Rack– With so much being done to make Ocean City a bike friendly community you can contribute to add a bike rack at a business or recreation location that is available. (Includes 4 lines, 20 characters per line) $600. Please call Wendy Moyle at 609-525-9301 for more information.
Pavers at Veteran’s Memorial Park– A memorial walkway is being built to remember our military veterans. Engraved brick pavers will line the walkway and lead to the dedication wall and flags that currently exist at the Park. Bricks are $150 each. OceanCity Community Center– the Ocean City Community Center Association is an independent non-profit service organization that is dedicated to expanding and developing programs and facilities at the Ocean City Community Center. Engraved brick pavers are available for $150 each. Contribute $1,000 or more to become a member of the prestigious Association as well as receive recognition on the Giving Wall in the lobby of the renovated Center. Surf Chair Program-If you would like to make a donation to the Surf Chair Program, please send to The City of Ocean City Recreation Trust Fund, 861 Asbury Avenue, Ocean City NJ 08226.
Humane Society of Ocean City– Memorial bricks in memory of your pet are available for permanent display at the Humane Society of Ocean City. Bricks cost $150 and will be placed in the walkway in front of the shelter. The Humane Society also has bench sponsorships, kennel sponsorships, and play area sponsorships. Rates vary for corporate and individual sponsorship. Call the Humane Society at 609-399-2018 for more information.
