CPR Training for the Public

The Ocean City Fire Department is committed to the education and safety of our community.

The OCFD offers CPR training for the entire community. The department offers training for your organization at your site on your schedule. It also will be scheduling classes throughout the year for anyone wanting to learn CPR. Two classes are currently scheduled at the Ocean City Free Public Library (at 17th Street and Simpson Avenue):
  • April 4, 2017: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • May 21, 2017: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Anybody who wants to learn CPR is encouraged to sign up ($30): https://goo.gl/forms/DHlqTASVqrPJmcMk1?

The OCFD also understands that busy lifestyles sometime prevents individuals from being able to take a class. The American Heart Association offers online training. This is a blended learning style where the classroom component is completed online, then skills are checked in person by Ocean City Fire Department personnel.

Check back often as we will be adding classes throughout the year at various locations throughout the city.  Any questions or requests for training should be directed to Captain Raymond Clark at rclark@ocnj.us or 609-525-9190.
