Business Administrator, Jim Mallon
Jim Mallon has worked for the City of Ocean City in numerous capacities on and off since 1994. He has also worked in municipal government in Pennsylvania, served as Borough Administrator in Camden County and worked in Government Relations in the telecommunications and defense industries. Jim was appointed Business Administrator for the City of Ocean City in December of 2014. The Business Administrator, as the chief operating officer, oversees the following departments: Law, Community Services, Public Works, Financial Management, Police Services and Fire & Rescue Services. In addition, Jim also serves as the Department Head for the following Divisions: Emergency Management, Engineering / Project Management, Human Resources, Information Technology, Planning and Zoning and Purchasing.
